The Hamsa is an ancient amulet from the Middle East, which symbolizes the Hand of God. In all religions it is a sign of protection. It is believed to offer its owner happiness, peace and prosperity, as well as protection from the evil eye. The word "Hamsa" means five. There are five digits in the Hamsa hand, but the number five has other traditional interpretations. Hamsa is often used in jewelry and wall decoration.
